Aside from M&G hosting and managing the Packer of the Year contest, this year Matt has had the honour of being asked to facilitate and play the Dimbleby role for a major debate at the show.
The topic is the conveyancing system. And, as many know from Matt’s blog posts covering all manner of topics such as late exchanges, gazumping, reasons to avoid a Friday and vacant possession he feels quite strongly about this! Not too mention the super cynical moving guide.
The debate – ‘Moving Day Mayhem’, organised by MovingEtc’s Jane Finch has attracted some star names;
Jonathan Smithers – Vice President of the Law Society
Edward Goldsmith – Chairman of the Conveyancing Association
Simon Law – Chairman of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers
Mark Hayward – MD of the NAEA
Christopher Hamer – The Property Ombudsman
Paula Higgins – CEO of the Homeowners Alliance
And, then, our very own Matt Faizey, directing the missles that may come from the audience and of course providing input of his own.
The debate is scheduled for 21st October, at Silverstone.
Matt has also written a page for Removal Industry professionals giving a brief insight as to why they should attend. Click Here.
